17th Hellfire Shock Brigade

Lore: Due to an escalating threat leading up to the second galactic war, Super Earth formed the 17th Hellfire Brigade. The brigade aimed to secure the outer territories on the fringe of the known galaxy. The brigade’s fleet lay dormant, run by a skeleton crew, and many of its members were kept in cryostasis until a threat significant enough to activate them presented itself. The brigade saw little action, even at the start of the war; only a small contingent of its quick reaction force saw action, responding to a select number of distress calls during the special military operations.

It wasn’t until The Reclamation that the fleet was awoken from its hibernation; The 17th Hellfire Brigade was activated to full strength in response to the fall of several worlds under the automaton armada. Lights flickered, and sirens blared as hundreds of Brigade ships were activated simultaneously. All ships of the brigade came online. Crews were now at full strength as war was declared. Our enemy will know hell fire!
